Episode 211 / Eat It!

There are are so many songs out there devoted to food, so here we go with Part Three of our All You Can Eat series. Tonight’s episode is entitled “Eat It”, with the show artwork from a book illustrated by the one and only Robert Crumb! This week’s dine and dash mystery meat show features a delicious side order of the works, sunny side up, and proudly presents that unforgotten epic by Dr. West’s Medicine Show, “The Eggplant That Ate Chicago”. Not to be outdone, we also bring you the Amboy Dukes anthem, “Why Is A Carrot More Orange Than An Orange” as well as the eerily prophetic Bill Cosby song, “What Ya Think Bout Lickin My Chicken”! As Guy Marx once told us, “loving you has made me bananas”.

It’s been pointed out to me that I inadvertently included the wrong Asleep At the Wheel song, mistaking it for “Last Meal”, but you’re fine with that, aren’t you?
